Description:

Assist in the management and coordination of the 21st Century afterschool programming activities at Penderlea School, a year-round school. This position is a part-time, hourly role, and employment is directly tied to the operation of our afterschool programming. The afterschool program operates Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the months when the afterschool program is in session. Specific dates will be discussed during the hiring process.

Monday-Thursday 1:15-6:00pm - 19 hours/week Assist in the planning, organizing and supervision of the day-to-day operation of the afterschool program Assist students with online lessons & work one-on-one with participants as needed Maintain a safe and healthy environment for the students Assist in maintaining current student records in online system Assist in keeping an updated inventory of supplies, equipment and materials necessary to effectively carry out program activities Encourage and recruit student, parent and community involvement in 21st CCLC activities

Qualifications:

Two-year degree or certification preferred. Experience working with at-risk youth required. Must be flexible, resourceful, enthusiastic, and energetic. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. Bilingual preferred.
