Head Injury Association is seeking full-time Day Program Specialist to provide direct care to individuals supported in our day program located in Hauppauge. This position helps those we support in completing a variety of activities including cooking, computer lab, horticulture, photography and more. Essential Job Responsibilities Ensuring health, wellness and safety and providing appropriate supervision of people supported Building positive relationships with individuals supported as well as fellow co-workers Using effective communication and time management skills Completing mandatory trainings Adhering to HIA's policies, procedures and regulations Transporting and escorting people we support on recreational activities, and community outings, etc. Helping the individuals we support achieve their goals Why Work for HIA?:

Education and Experience:
