Job Summary The SummerWorks Youth Employment program is a ten-week employment & mentorship program for youth ages 16-24. Geared for Washtenaw County youth, SummerWorks provides on-the-job training that helps you: gain meaningful work experience and mentorship prepare for the career you want build your professional network gain essential skills (attendance | communication | professionalism | attire) learn about new industries learn how to manage money This posting is not intended to address the specific details, job description, work requirements of any particular position in the SummerWorks program. Modes of Work Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department. Background checks will be performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act and may include a drug screen and/or fingerprinting for certain positions. You will be advised by your success coach if you need to complete a background check and any other additional screening. All Michigan Medicine positions will also require a health screening.
