Position Overview The Roofing Superintendent oversees the seamless execution of roofing projects, both residential and commercial. This position requires extensive knowledge of diverse roofing systems—ranging from asphalt shingles and metal roofing to TPO and tile systems. The ideal candidate will effectively lead site operations, manage resources, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and up to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Project Oversight & Execution Coordinate all aspects of roofing projects, from initial site setup to final inspections, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety standards. Supervise the installation, repair, and maintenance of varied roofing systems, including:

Commercial:

TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal roofing systems

Residential:

Asphalt shingles, slate, tile, and wood shake Monitor material delivery, manage labor allocation, and ensure efficient use of resources to achieve project goals. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead, mentor, and motivate roofing crews to deliver exceptional craftsmanship while adhering to safety protocols. Work closely with subcontractors to maintain project quality and ensure alignment with client expectations. Facilitate effective communication and coordination between field teams, project managers, and clients. Quality Assurance & Safety Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all work meets CK Roofing Inc.'s rigorous standards and industry regulations. Oversee job site safety, performing routine inspections and enforcing compliance with OSHA and company policies. Client Relations & Communication Act as the on-site representative for CK Roofing Inc., maintaining regular communication with property owners, developers, and contractors. Provide progress updates, address client concerns promptly, and ensure a positive project experience. Reporting & Documentation Maintain detailed daily project logs, including labor hours, materials used, and site activities. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate budgeting, timely reporting, and resolution of change orders. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Comprehensive understanding of multiple roofing systems and installation techniques. Proven ability to manage teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail. Effective communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
