Job Description

  • Meet with municipalities, local development offices, developers and not for profits to build community network
  • Participate in the Statewide Land Bank Association
  • Attend conferences, breakfasts, tournaments, events that will build community engagement and further develop the awareness of the land bank in community
  • Create and maintain relationships with professionals in the business community such as developers, realtors, bankers, etc.
  • Collaborate to promote and identify properties owned by NORLIC
  • Inform businesses, realtors, developers, of NORLIC properties and ability to participate in projects
  • Prepare project information to support applications that will be presented to the Board
  • Inform board members on a monthly basis of upcoming work and ongoing projects
  • Draft annual reports for board approval and submission to NYS
  • Apply for grant funding to support land bank activities
  • Work with staff to assist with project information necessary for audits, board meetings, compliance materials, reporting, etc.
  • Collaborate with marketing staff to promote NORLIC
  • Field calls and website inquiries from interested parties
  • Ensure website is up to date and in compliance with PAAA guidelines
  • Assist senior staff with data collection
  • Attend committee, legislature or board meetings when necessary
  • Collect information to better promote sites, such as utility infrastructure capacity, permitting process, etc.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
