PROJECT COORDINATOR
Job Description:
Work in the Renewable, Solar, and Battery Storage Market. Our growing company is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized Project Operations Coordinator to support Company Project Managers and internal accounting operations. This role provides administrative and financial coordination support for large-scale, utility renewable energy construction projects across the United States. This position supports invoicing, accounts receivable and payable coordination, vendor management, general operational administration, applicant tracking and recruiting.Location:
Hybrid or Remote; travel required up to 25%Pay:
DOE $28-$30 per hour (hourly, non-exempt)Benefits:

Company Project Managers Preferred Background:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or Accounting/Finance
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar administrative, project coordination, recruiting or accounting support role
- Experience supporting remote teams and project-based operations
Required Skillsets:
- Proven efficiency through prior experience in a remote position
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Outgoing and professional communicator with the confidence to conduct candidate outreach, phone screenings, and relationship-building conversations with prospective candidates.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) when working with diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently within established processes
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads with a positive, solution-based attitude and result-oriented mindset
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with P6, Project, Paylocity, Indeed, LinkedIn, Procore, SAP Fieldglass, or Smartsheet is a plus
- Ability and willingness to learn new systems and software
- Prompt follow-through and responsiveness
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support client billing and accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation and submission
- Review and approve time and expense reports in accordance with company policy
- Assist with vendor setup, tracking, and coordination
- Support asset tracking, including vehicle mileage
- Assist with intercompany recharges (e.g., fuel cards, insurance premiums, workers' compensation)
- Support operations and project teams with general administrative tasks
- Provide comprehensive support for all aspects of the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination, while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
- Assist with drafting job descriptions.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds when required
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods with occasional bending or reaching
- Ability to traverse construction jobsites on uneven terrain when necessary
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions when visiting jobsites
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when required by jobsite or task
