Hicks Lightning Protection provides turnkey lightning protection and grounding systems for commercial and industrial projects. We service projects throughout the United States and abroad, with offices and employees located in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Virginia. As we continue to grow, we're looking for motivated professionals who want to grow with us and be part of our expanding team. Hicks Lightning Protection is currently looking to fill the position of Construction Project Coordinator in Ponder, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to build a long-term career in the construction industry, with growth opportunities into Project Management and Estimating roles. Responsibilities Assemble and organize files for new projects. Create and maintain jobs within project management software. Review construction drawings and prepare initial project projections. Assemble and submit project submittal packages. Prepare project information for handoff to Project Managers. Review updated project documents and returned submittals for potential cost impacts. Assist Project Managers with project tracking, contracts, and documentation. Communicate with Project Managers, customers, and other team members regarding project-related questions and concerns. Coordinate and assemble project closeout documents and O&M manuals. Maintain accurate project records and documentation. Support project teams to ensure deadlines and project requirements are met. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Strong organizational, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe software. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. AutoCAD experience preferred. Experience with Foundation Construction Software and/or QuickBooks preferred. Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar construction management software preferred. Knowledge of lightning protection and grounding systems preferred. High school diploma or GED required. College degree in a related field preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Ability to pass company and customer-required background checks and drug screening.
