A Property Manager manages operations for an apartment building or complex. Recruits and screens tenants for apartments, collects rents and security deposits, responds to requests or complaints from tenants, supervises maintenance and repairs; oversees payment of bills, insurance, taxes and recordkeeping. Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

Property Management Coordinator Coachella Valley Property Management | Palm Desert, CA | Full-Time, On-Site Coachella Valley Property Management manages residential rental properties throughout the Coachella Valley, partnering with owners and tenants to deliver responsive, professional property management. We're hiring a Property Management Coordinator to be a calm, steady administrative presence in our Palm Desert office. You'll own key and file management, staff the front desk, and give our Property Management, Leasing, and Maintenance teams the hands-on support they need to keep things running smoothly, even when the day gets chaotic. What You'll Do Manage key inventory: issue, track, and log every key the same day it moves Maintain lockbox and access codes for vendors, technicians, and showings Organize and stage keys for next-day maintenance technician work orders Keep tenant, owner, and property files organized and audit-ready (physical and in AppFolio) Greet tenants, owners, vendors, and visitors as our front desk presence Answer the main office phone line and greet every caller as the first voice of CVPM Route calls and messages to the right person: Tenant Relations , Leasing, or Maintenance, and know when something needs to be escalated right away versus handled on a normal timeline Track incoming requests and tasks through to completion, following up so nothing sits unanswered Receive and distribute mail and packages Support with calendar coordination, office supplies, and special projects Support the Leasing team with showing procedure questions, lockbox coordination, and tenant application generic questions. What We're Looking For Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable greeting and communicating with tenants, owners, and vendors in person and by phone Trustworthy with keys, access codes, and confidential files Familiarity with AppFolio or similar property management software, or the ability to learn quickly Reliable, on-site attendance
Preferred:
Prior experience in property management, real estate, front desk, or administrative/customer service Bilingual in
English and Spanish Compensation :
