Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Property Manager, this person will be responsible for performing the below tasks, including but not limited to: Administrative support for Property Manager Address tenant issues and concerns in a thoughtful and timely manner. Process work orders and track status. Process rent payments and rent collection. Process accounts payable. Waitlist management. Maintain meticulous tenant files. Assist in ensuring compliance with state agencies such as Mass Housing.
Qualifications:
The candidate must have the following: At least two (2) years of full-time work experience in Residential Property Management. Working knowledge of affordable housing compliance programs such as Project-based Section 8. Strong organizational, analytic, verbal, and written skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast paced environment. Be able to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and obtain results for the residents and the community. Customer service skills are important in this role. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and work as a team member are important qualities for the position. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Knowledge of housing software and QuickBooks. An equal housing employer.
