Manages property and services on behalf of a community association, for properties such as condominiums or cooperatives. Collects fees or dues, responds to requests or complaints, supervises maintenance, oversees work done by contractors, and provides accounting of income and expenses. May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, maximizing occupancy, maintaining the property's appearance, and leading a high-performing onsite team. The ideal candidate is an organized, customer-focused leader with several years of successful property management experience and a proven ability to manage both leasing and maintenance operations. Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day operations of a large apartment community. Supervise and mentor Leasing Agents and the onsite Maintenance team. Drive leasing efforts to maintain high occupancy and achieve revenue goals. Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of resident concerns. Manage resident retention initiatives and maintain positive resident relationships. Oversee rent collections, delinquency management, and lease compliance. Coordinate maintenance schedules, capital improvement projects, and property inspections. Prepare reports, budgets, and monitor property performance. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws, company policies, and all applicable regulations. Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate onsite staff. Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment. Qualifications Several years of property management experience is required. Previous experience managing a large apartment community preferred. Prior supervisory experience leading leasing and maintenance teams. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with property management software is preferred. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws.
