Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Assistant Leasing Manager to join our property management team. In this role, you will work directly alongside the Leasing Manager to drive occupancy, manage the leasing pipeline, and foster an exceptional community experience for our residents. The ideal candidate blends strong sales closing skills with organized administrative oversight, ensuring the property meets its leasing goals while keeping current residents happy.
Duties and Responsibilities Lead Leasing Efforts:
Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and showcase community amenities to maximize lease conversion rates. Manage the
Pipeline:
Follow up diligently with all leads via phone, email, and text using our property management CRM systems.
Process Applications:
Coordinate background checks, credit evaluations, and income verification for prospective tenants in line with regulatory guidelines.
Execute Leases:
Prepare, explain, and execute digital and physical lease agreements and renewal contracts accurately.
Support Financials:
Assist with collecting application fees, security deposits, and monthly rent, as well as managing past-due accounts.
Coordinate Marketing:
Help design and execute marketing campaigns, social media outreach, and online vacancy listings to maintain high property visibility.
Resolve Issues:
Act as a secondary point of contact for resident questions, service requests, and minor maintenance coordination.
Qualifications and Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing or business is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in residential leasing, property management, or real estate sales.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer knowledge, including the ability to type, navigate the internet, check emails, and learn new property software easily.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively build rapport with diverse prospective residents.
Availability:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends when leasing traffic is highest.
