If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Clinical Supervisor of Residential and Inpatient Services. This is a hybrid position where you will split your work time between the office, community, and home. What You Will Be Doing As the Clinical Supervisor of Residential and Inpatient Services , you will provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff while supporting high-quality, person-centered services. You will provide clinical supervision as needed and serve as a key resource for Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) requirements, partnering with ISK, the PIHP, MDHHS, providers, and community partners. You will oversee service authorization, hospital and crisis continued-stay reviews, and discharge planning efforts. You will also support quality assurance and utilization management activities to ensure services and documentation meet Medicaid, CARF, and program standards. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams, providers, hospitals, and community partners to improve care coordination, address system gaps, develop effective procedures, and resolve complaints. You will also participate in committees and contribute to policies and systems that improve services and outcomes for the individuals we serve. What We Require A Master's degree licensed professional with a minimum of three years' experience in behavioral health care services working with adults is required. Experience working with individuals living in specialized residential settings and with psychiatric hospitalization and AOT processes preferred. E xperience in supervision with demonstrated leadership skills and an ability to train/mentor other team members is preferred. You must have one of the following
Michigan Licensures:
Licensed Master Social Work ( LMSW ) or Licensed Professional Counselor ( LPC ). Limited licenses will be considered. A valid Michigan Driver's License is required. A strong understanding of the needs of persons with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders is needed. You will understand how to implement a strong recovery philosophy and be able to collaborate and develop teams. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Physical Efforts - Job demands include prolonged sitting and standing as appropriate. May occasionally require light lifting up to 25 pounds, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or bending as appropriate. Requires coordination of hands and/or eye/hand/foot. Working Conditions - Office environment with noise from computers, copy machine, and telephones. Use of computer for periods in excess of 30 minutes at a time. Possible eyestrain from extended periods of computer screen. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and parasites. Travel throughout the Kalamazoo area is required.
