May also assist owners or a board of directors with regulatory compliance or compliance with community association rules. Manages the operation of commercial or residential properties. Oversees the collection of rents and payment of bills, taxes and insurance for properties, and provides property owners with reports on finances and the status of properties. Directs leasing operations, or equipment and machinery rentals, for a company or business. Determines charges and prepares rental or lease agreements; supervises inventory, equipment maintenance and recordkeeping for leasing operations.

This role requires a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of property management regulations and administrative processes. The Property Manager will be responsible for leasing, maintenance coordination, tenant relations, and compliance with housing laws, all while fostering a positive living environment for residents. Responsibilities Manage daily property operations, including leasing activities, rent collection, and resident relations to ensure high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction. Oversee property maintenance and facilities management, coordinating repairs and inspections to maintain safety standards and property value. Handle leasing processes using property management software such as Boston Post, including data entry, filing, and contract management. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant laws, Section 8 guidelines, requirements, and other legal administrative procedures. Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Resolve conflicts effectively through negotiation and conflict management techniques while maintaining positive relationships with residents and vendors. Administer legal documents, contracts, and lease agreements with precision; upsell additional services or amenities to enhance resident experience. Requirements Proven experience in property management role with familiarity in property leasing and customer service. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and legal administrative procedures. Proficiency in property management software such as Boston Post. Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette; capable of handling conflict resolution diplomatically. Office experience including data entry, filing, contracts administration, and customer relationship management tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
