Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Homeless Program Manager to lead our efforts in providing effective services to individuals experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. In this vital role, you will meet with clients requesting emergency shelter, diversion, rapid rehousing, homeless prevention and other housing problem solving matters. Your leadership will ensure that our programs are compliant with local and statewide priorities, and collaborate effectively with other community stakeholders addressing housing and homelessness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference and hone your professional skills in human services and non profit program management . Responsibilities Lead the implementation, and evaluation of homeless assistance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and community needs. Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with community agencies, government entities, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and resource sharing. Oversee program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with funding requirements and organizational policies. Develop new initiatives to address emerging needs within underserved communities while maintaining existing program excellence. Ensure all program activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations related to social services and behavioral health. Maintain accurate documentation and data entry, prepare reports for funders, and support grant writing efforts to secure ongoing funding. Provide direct client service, offering guidance and support tailored to individuals with trauma-informed care . Qualifications Experience or education in human services or desire to be trained. Excellent written and oral communication. Administrative experience including budgeting, program development, and compliance oversight preferred, but willing to train Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for report writing and data management. Experience working with underserved communities from diverse backgrounds. Team player and willingness to learn and adapt.
