$25.00-$35.00 per hour (DOE) Position Overview FOS Field Operations LLC is seeking a highly motivated, self-sufficient Operations Specialist to support the deployment, fabrication, maintenance, and logistics of our mobile security surveillance systems throughout Northern California. This position is based out of our Union City, CA facility and is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. The successful candidate will operate as the primary field and shop technician responsible for ensuring our mobile surveillance equipment is built, maintained, transported, and deployed safely and professionally. This is a true hands-on position where no two days are the same. Primary Responsibilities Transport mobile surveillance towers using a company truck and trailer to customer locations. Safely load, secure, transport, deploy, relocate, and remove surveillance towers. Perform shop fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of security camera towers. Weld, repair, and modify steel components. Prepare, paint, and finish fabricated equipment. Install surveillance cameras, solar equipment, batteries, networking devices, and related hardware. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers, towers, and associated equipment. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is deployment-ready. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shop environment. Complete service documentation and inventory reporting. Represent FOS professionally while interacting with customers and job sites. Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards. Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) (Required) Professional welding experience Ability to safely tow truck and trailer combinations Strong mechanical aptitude Experience using power tools and fabrication equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent problem-solving skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Clean driving record Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check Preferred Qualifications Hands-on steel fabrication experience Skid Steer Operator Certification Boom Lift Operator Certification Trailer maintenance experience Electrical wiring or low-voltage installation experience Experience installing cameras, networking equipment, or security systems Forklift experience What We're Looking For Takes ownership of their work.
