Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Alert leadership of capacity or material issues that will impact the project schedule or the MPS. Identify opportunities, negotiate, and develop work around plans with cross functionally to ensure the least amount of impact occurs to existing production schedules and attaining desired results.
Actively participate in SIOP meetings as scheduled by the organization.
Act as internal educator on master scheduling issues providing education and training throughout the company to improve any company - wide understanding of MPS functions.
Create and update key metrics as required, notably the Available to Promise weekly and daily schedule attainment results.
Build a master production schedule based on firm customer orders and forecast using planning BOM's and production plan.
Maintain the Master Production Schedule on a consistent basis.
Utilizing the Master Production Schedule, identify the manpower needed to support manufacturing.
Load and maintain (MRP) in keeping with Time Fence Policies and run MRP.
Manage and oversee the responsibilities of the work order processor and the routing functions of the company
Release, maintain, and modify end item work orders, after-market, engineering test and prototypes.
Maintain and distribute final assembly schedules.
Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product
Provide timely updates to Master Production Schedule as required in a timely manner, and execute all required changes as needed.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Process sales orders.
Review for material and labor content, and schedule.
Process supplements.
Maintain "TA" job files and serial masters.
Maintain MRP calendar and forecasts.
Generate and distribute available to promise and dealer completion list.
Measure performance against final assembly schedule and prepare data for reviews and provide specific requested reported as requested.
Work and communicate in a team environment.
