Works in receiving to check shipments that are primarily production materials or company supplies, or checks outgoing shipments of finished products.

Job Description

Pull, Pack, Crate and ship materials and accessories from various production areas as required to exceed customers on time delivery expectations. Receive daily needed production items to keep the assembly area working. This will include unloading of trucks and putting away inventory in designated Organize, plan, and order shipping supplies for the shipping area (i.e., staples, pallets, wood, corrugated items, etc.). Work with various departments on shipping information which includes, but not limited to, arranging shipments with carriers, maintaining, and emailing out daily the shipping manifest, scanning in packing slips to file for accounting, etc. Run reports daily to plan out what needs to be shipped. Work directly with various departments on their shipping requirements. Perform cycle counts, verify incoming material, quantities, and stocking locations, along with reporting on discrepancies. Quals-- 1-2 years prior work experience in a shipping and receiving environment. Ability to drive a forklift Computer knowledge Experience working with MS Office Suite Ability to navigate the internet Experience working in an ERP system Demonstrated ability to take initiative Team player, solution focused, takes a positive approach Ability to work Overtime and weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 45lbs.
