Job Description
Job Overview Polyurethane Machinery Corporation (PMC), a leader in the spray foam equipment industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all products are accurately processed and delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess strong organizational skills to maintain efficient workflow. Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks safely to load and unload materials. Perform order picking and packing tasks efficiently to meet shipping deadlines. Conduct quality checks on received goods and ensure proper packaging for outbound shipments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking purposes. Skills Proven experience in a warehouse setting with a focus on shipping & receiving. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software is preferred but not required. Knowledge of order fulfillment processes, including picking & packing techniques. Ability to operate various equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks safely. Experience with packaging standards and procedures for different types of products. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
