Be the person who keeps production moving At Specialty Machine , our machinists can't build parts if the right material isn't in the right place at the right time—and our customers don't get their parts unless someone makes sure every quantity, certification, label, and shipment is correct. We're looking for an experienced Inventory, Shipping & Receiving Clerk who takes ownership of that process. This is not simply a packing or warehouse position . You'll work directly inside a precision CNC manufacturing operation, handling raw materials and finished components, maintaining inventory accuracy and traceability, staging material for production, coordinating outside processing, operating a forklift, and making sure customer shipments leave our facility accurately and on time. What You'll Do You'll own important pieces of the material flow through our operation, including: Receive raw materials, components and supplies and verify quantity, condition and documentation Safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and other material-handling equipment Stage and kit material for CNC production according to work orders and production requirements Move raw material, work-in-process and finished parts throughout the facility Maintain accurate inventory transactions, locations and quantities in our ERP system Perform cycle counts and help investigate and correct inventory discrepancies Prepare finished precision-machined parts for shipment while protecting critical surfaces Verify packing lists, certifications, part numbers, revisions, quantities, lot/serial information and customer requirements before shipment Prepare shipping labels, Bills of Lading and other required documentation Coordinate UPS, FedEx, DHL and freight shipments Coordinate material going to and returning from outside processors such as plating, anodizing, heat treating, coating and grinding Make occasional local pickups and deliveries using a company vehicle Work closely with Production, Quality and Purchasing to resolve shortages, damaged material, documentation problems and other discrepancies The underlying position also requires maintaining lot/serial traceability and supporting

quality-system requirements throughout the receiving and shipping process. What We're Looking For These are the capabilities we need: Previous forklift operating experience Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory, warehouse or material handling Comfortable using computers and learning an ERP/inventory system Ability to accurately receive, count, identify, stage and track material Ability to read and follow work orders, travelers, packing instructions and shipping documentation Strong attention to detail—especially part numbers, quantities, revisions and paperwork Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record to support operations of company vehicles High school diploma or GED Ability to regularly lift/move up to 45 lbs. and frequently handle loads up to 65 lbs. What Will Set You Apart You don't need every one of these, but they will get our attention: Experience in a CNC machine shop, aerospace, defense or other precision-manufacturing environment Experience receiving and handling metal bar stock, plate, forgings or precision-machined components Experience with Global Shop Solutions or another manufacturing ERP/MRP system Current forklift certification Familiarity with material certifications, Certificates of Conformance (C of C), mill certs and special-process certifications Experience maintaining lot or serial-number traceability Experience packaging precision parts using VCI, protective inserts, ESD materials or other customer-specific packaging requirements Experience coordinating outside-processing vendors and tracking material through multiple manufacturing operations Those differentiators come directly from the more demanding aspects of your current JD, particularly its requirements around precision-part packaging, documentation, traceability, outside processing and ERP transactions. What Success Looks Like Within your first 90 days , you understand our material flow, can safely operate our material-handling equipment, accurately process routine receiving and shipping transactions, and have earned the trust of the people you support. Within 6 months , you're independently managing day-to-day receiving, inventory movement and shipping responsibilities with a high level of accuracy. You're identifying discrepancies before they become problems and helping keep production supplied. Within 12 months , you're a dependable go-to member of the operation who understands how material moves through Specialty Machine, helps maintain strong inventory accuracy and traceability, and is contributing ideas that make the department safer, faster and more organized.
