Job Description

Responsibilities:
Must have a logistics background Must be able to create and follow processes Manage workflow, regional coverage 3PL experience Coordinate and oversee daily workflows between client, customer service and warehouse floor Plan and monitor staffing requirements to ensure productivity, profitability, and high service levels to client Ensure orders, receipts, returns and special projects are completed on time and accurately Responsible for inventory checks being in place (cycle count schedule) Review open orders deck daily Ensure staff is trained on client specific requirements, customer specific requirements, forklift and MHE requirements as well as good warehouse practices Review incident log on at least weekly basis with warehouse and customer service staff Ensure Housekeeping program in effect and monitored MHE (Material Handling Equipment) is in good working order
Health and Safety Requirements:
Strong organization and prioritization skills. Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates. Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports. A background in Warehousing or Distribution Center management. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Management and leadership experience in an industrial setting. The ability to make decisions, problem solve, prioritize assignments, and direct the workforce in a growing warehouse environment. Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
