This role is responsible for managing regional transportation operations, leading dispatch teams, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring on-time service execution across multiple accounts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive dispatch and transportation management experience, capable of overseeing inbound and outbound freight operations while driving performance, accountability, and customer satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills, operational awareness, and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, drivers, and dispatch teams.

Work Location:
Forest Park, GA (In Person) Key Responsibilities Oversee daily trucking and logistics operations throughout the Southeast Region, ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time performance. Manage communication and relationship management for 6 major customer accounts . Track all customer accounts while working closely with the dispatch team. Ensure all freight is covered, scheduled, and confirmed for on-time delivery. Coordinate and execute inbound and outbound deliveries, optimizing routes, capacity, and scheduling. Directly support dispatch operations as needed and manage dispatch personnel to ensure service excellence. Monitor real-time operations and proactively resolve service disruptions, delays, equipment issues, and staffing challenges. Serve as the primary escalation point for customers, drivers, and internal teams within the region. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and customer requirements. Track operational KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with safety, recruiting, and maintenance teams to support driver retention, fleet readiness, and safe operations. Develop regional strategies to improve productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Support onboarding, training, and development of dispatchers and drivers. Prepare performance reports and provide leadership updates on regional performance, challenges, and opportunities. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of dispatching experience . Minimum 3 years of experience managing 50+ trucks and drivers . Minimum 3 years of experience managing at least 3 dispatchers . Strong understanding of inbound and outbound freight operations. Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance. Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to manage drivers, dispatchers, and customer relationships. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Proficient with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics software. Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications Regional management experience within trucking or logistics. Experience supporting large retail or dedicated transportation accounts. Background in performance management, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience with multi-state operations throughout the Southeast region. Bachelor's degree preferred.
