Job Description

Eastside Transportation, a leading provider of executive and shuttle transportation across the Upstate, is seeking a fleet manager to join our growing team. We proudly serve universities, corporate clients, residential communities, and private events. We are looking for a dependable fleet manager who takes pride in delivering safe, reliable, and clean vehicles. Position Overview As Eastside's fleet manager you will be responsible for the upkeep of approximately 40 vehicles. The fleet is a mix of sedans, SUVs, vans, and buses/commercial vehicles with an equal mix of gas and diesel. Responsibilities Track milage and hours for prevenative maintenance Schedule oil changes, tires, brakes, lights, batteries, and filters Keep the facility in good repair Coordinate repairs with vendors Deliver vehicles to vendors and customers Occasionally assist drivers Assist with keeping vehicles clean and customer ready Keep the garage, shop, and detailing station orderly and stocked Facilitate annual inspections Track repairs and maintenance costs Manage vehicles over extended territory Qualifications 2+ years of experience in parts/maintenance management Working knowledge of PM program Interpersonal skills to manage vendors and fix problems reported by drivers Must keep clean records using tracking software Compensation $62,000 - $70,000/yr
