MUST HAVE PREVIOUS LANDSCAPING EXPERIENCE
•We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate outdoor landscaping projects, ensuring high-quality grounds maintenance and landscape installations. In this dynamic role, you will lead a team of skilled crew members, manage daily operations, and ensure the successful completion of various landscaping tasks. Your leadership will drive efficiency, safety, and excellence on every project site, creating beautiful and sustainable outdoor spaces for clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and team management while contributing to vibrant outdoor environments. Duties Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members on daily tasks, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met Coordinate and execute landscaping projects including lawn care, planting, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance Manage irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal landscape health Identify plants, trees, shrubs, and ground cover to ensure proper care and landscape design adherence Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools with precision Oversee the operation of company vehicles for project transportation and material delivery Ensure timely completion of construction projects by managing resources effectively and maintaining productivity Supervise crew activities related to hardscape features like patios or walkways while maintaining safety standards Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to client specifications Provide training and mentorship to team members in horticulture practices, equipment operation, and safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles Prior supervising or crew management experience in outdoor or construction settings Knowledge of plant identification, tree care techniques, and grounds maintenance best practices Familiarity with irrigation management systems and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely including mowers, trimmers, hardscape tools, and company vehicles Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously Construction experience related to outdoor projects such as patios or walkways is highly desirable Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients alike Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for vehicle operation responsibilities Join us as a Landscaping Crew Leader where your expertise will help craft stunning outdoor environments!
