Warehouse / Stock Associate - Hometown Ace Hardware

Position Summary Beisswenger's Hometown Hardware is looking for a dependable, hardworking Warehouse / Stock Associate to support daily store operations through receiving, stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the store and warehouse areas. This role plays a key part in keeping product flowing efficiently from delivery to the sales floor while helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for both employees and customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receiving & Inventory Receive incoming freight and verify shipments for accuracy and damage Assist with unloading trucks and organizing incoming merchandise Accurately check in inventory and help maintain inventory accuracy Label, stock, and rotate merchandise as needed Assist with vendor returns, transfers, and damaged product processes Stocking & Merchandising Stock shelves, endcaps, displays, and overstock areas Ensure products are properly faced, organized, and priced Maintain clean aisles, backrooms, and warehouse spaces Help maintain seasonal displays and promotional setups Monitor low inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs Warehouse Operations Organize warehouse and storage areas for efficiency and safety Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, ladders, and other equipment Assist with assembly, loading, and moving merchandise as needed Support store teams with inventory movement and product staging Customer Support Assist customers with locating merchandise when needed Help customers load merchandise into vehicles when applicable Provide friendly, professional service to customers and coworkers Team Support & Store Standards Work collaboratively with all store departments Follow company safety procedures and operational standards Assist with general store maintenance and housekeeping tasks Support additional operational tasks as assigned by management Qualifications and Skills Prior warehouse, stocking, retail, or inventory experience preferred Ability to work independently and stay organized Strong attention to detail and reliability Comfortable working in a physically active environment Basic computer and handheld device experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift throughout shifts Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Ability to safely handle inventory and equipment Core Values WOW Every Customer Every Time Speed is Life — Move with Urgency Own It — Take Responsibility for Results Team First — Support One Another Continuous Improvement — Always Look for a Better Way Schedule Expectations Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available Seasonal overtime may be required during peak business periods Why Join Hometown Ace Hardware?
