Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Technician (CMT) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care across various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. Your expertise will support individuals with diverse needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, and those requiring hospice or memory care. As a CMT, you will play a crucial part in ensuring safe, respectful, and effective medical support while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards. This position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through skilled caregiving and clinical assistance. Duties Assist with daily patient care activities including vital signs monitoring, catheter care, tube feeding, and medication administration Support patients with mobility challenges, ensuring safety during transfers and ambulation Document all patient interactions accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of nursing staff or healthcare providers Monitor and report changes in patient condition, including physiological responses and behavioral cues Support patients with specialized needs such as dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and providing compassionate companionship Experience Proven experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments Familiarity with medical documentation practices and medical terminology Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner preferred Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical procedures including catheter care and tube feeding Prior caregiving experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Experience providing hospice or palliative care for patients with complex needs Strong understanding of infection control protocols and HIPAA compliance Join us as a Certified Medical Technician to deliver exceptional patient-centered care that enhances well-being and promotes dignity.
