Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our 2nd Shift dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring efficient production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment, contribute to innovative projects, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc or similar controls Develop and modify CNC programs utilizing CAM programming software to optimize machining processes Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precise manufacturing Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime Select appropriate tooling and tooling setups for various machining tasks while adhering to safety standards Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, inspection reports, and machine logs Experience Proven experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like Fusion or other design tools for interpreting technical drawings Mechanical aptitude with understanding of welding, assembly, and use of hand tools and power tools Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply GD&T principles effectively Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts when necessary for material handling Join our team if you're passionate about precision machining, eager to learn new techniques like CAM programming or coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operations, and committed to producing high-quality components in a fast-moving environment.
