This role is central to keeping our 400+ local clients happy, projects moving, and our tech running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for client support, project coordination, technical oversight, virtual event production, and helping drive innovation—especially through AI and automation. Key Responsibilities Client Support & Ticketing Serve as primary point of contact for client support requests (via ticket system, email, phone). Troubleshoot issues related to websites, hosting, email, DNS, and our services. Escalate complex technical issues to developers as needed. Project Management & Coordination Manage website projects from kickoff to launch—coordinating with designers, developers, and clients. Keep projects on track, communicate timelines, and ensure deliverables meet client expectations. Assist in scoping new projects and sales support when needed. Technical Oversight & DevOps Lite Oversee hosting environment, perform basic server/account maintenance. Handle domain, SSL, and email setup/renewals. Update and maintain sites (70% WordPress, 30% custom CMS). Implement and manage backups, security updates, and performance monitoring. Virtual Event Production Set up and manage Zoom/vMix virtual events for clients. Provide live technical support during events. Handle pre-event testing and post-event wrap-up. Business Growth & Innovation Identify opportunities to improve workflows through automation, AI tools, and process improvements. Help research and implement new tech/services that add value for clients. Support the owner with strategic initiatives and daily operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile Experience:
2-5 years in a digital agency, tech support, project management, or operations role.Technical Skills:
Comfort with WordPress (themes, plugins, updates). Understanding of web hosting, DNS, SSL, email systems. Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS, troubleshooting website issues. Experience with project management tools (Trello, Teamwork, Basecamp, etc.).Bonus:
knowledge of virtual event platforms (Zoom, vMix), light DevOps, AI tools.Soft Skills:
Excellent communication—you can explain tech to non-tech clients. Highly organized, able to juggle multiple clients and projects. Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership. Comfortable in a small team where roles are fluid.Mindset:
