Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Powersports Service Advisor to join our service team. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs for service. Provide detailed vehicle inspections and explain repair recommendations clearly, utilizing estimating software and auto estimating tools. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire services, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repairs. Upsell additional services or maintenance based on customer needs while maintaining transparency and integrity. Prepare accurate service estimates and write detailed service orders using computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems. Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates, repair progress, and cost explanations. Handle cash transactions professionally and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and sales activities. Skills Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a service management role with dealership or independent shop background. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience preferred. Familiarity with diagnostics tools and estimating software such as Estimating or similar platforms. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining ethical standards. Knowledge of powersports repair procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, tire services, shocks & struts, transmissions, and collision repair processes. Experience with service writing software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles if needed. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
