Position Summary The Customer Service Representative serves as the first point of contact for customers and plays a critical role in supporting daily operations. Reporting to the Office Manager, this position helps coordinate communication between customers, service technicians, and delivery drivers to ensure a smooth customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys helping people. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions, requests, and service needs Gather customer information and establish new accounts Schedule gas deliveries, service appointments, and other field operations Assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner Process customer payments and maintain accurate payment records Balance daily cash and payment receipts Prepare and organize paperwork for deliveries, service work, and other office functions Communicate customer needs and service requests to technicians and delivery drivers Provide information regarding propane services and gas appliances offered by the company Support general office operations and administrative tasks as needed Required Qualifications Previous customer service, administrative, office support, dispatching, or scheduling experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills Professional, patient, and customer-focused approach Ability to work collaboratively in a close-knit team environment Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems Preferred Qualifications Experience scheduling service calls, deliveries, or field operations Experience handling customer payments and cash balancing Knowledge of propane, HVAC, utilities, home services, or related industries Ability to work independently and take initiative
Compensation, Benefits & More Compensation:
$15 - $16 per hour plus bonus
