Job Description

Job Overview A Licensed CSR in Insurance provides outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries, managing policyholders' accounts, assisting with claims processing, and ensuring compliance with insurance regulations. This role requires a strong knowledge of insurance products, state regulations, and excellent communication skills. The CSR serves as the first point of contact for customers, helping them understand their insurance options and resolve any issues related to their policies. Responsibilities Assist clients via phone, email, and chat—answering questions about policies, coverage, claims, and billing. Help customers understand their insurance options, process changes and renewals, and maintain accurate records. Support clients through claims, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide excellent service to boost satisfaction and retention. Opportunities to cross-sell additional products and support sales goals included. Qualifications Must hold an active state insurance license (e.g., Property and Casualty, Life, Health) as required by state law. A licensing grace period may be granted for the correct applicant. Previous experience working in a customer service or administrative role in insurance. Knowledge of claims processes and insurance documentation. Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be a plus, depending on the company and customer demographic. Work environment standard business hours, though some positions may require occasional evening or weekend availability during peak periods.
