POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for providing high-quality customer service while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and parts distribution operations. Duties include processing parts orders, handling inbound and outbound shipments, performing data entry and cycle counts, ensuring accurate distribution of parts and hardware, housekeeping, and various shop tasks. A working knowledge of parts and equipment and a strong customer-service mindset are essential. The goal of this role is to deliver world-class service to both internal teams and NLB customers. Essential Functions Respond to incoming customer calls related to parts orders and inquiries Provide customers with quotations, order status, and product knowledge Receive, inspect, count, weigh, and verify incoming and outgoing materials Pull, stage, and post materials, components, and parts for shop orders, work orders, and customer orders Receive and process inbound and outbound transfer orders from Michigan and other branch locations Enter shipment weights and shipping charges and apply appropriate shipping labels Perform inventory transactions including data entry, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures Performs shop housekeeping duties and other shop tasks as required

Education High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience One to two years related experience would be a plus but not required
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Certificates & Licenses Valid Indiana Driver's License. Ability to pass Hi-Lo Driver Exam and receive a Hi-lo License. Other Requirements While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat.
