Job Description

Job Overview Serve as the main link between patients and a healthcare provider by answering phone calls, scheduling visits, and managing patient requests.
Daily Patient Communication Answering Calls:
Answer inbound calls from patients, families, case managers and insurance companies.
Routing Messages:
Transfer clinical questions other departments, clinical team or doctors.
Handling Complaints:
Listen to patient concerns and solve problems with patience and care
Appointment and Schedule Management Booking Visits:
Schedule new patient appointments, follow-up visits and procedures.
Changing Times:
Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed.
Records and Insurance Verification Updating Information:
Verify patient names, phone numbers, and addresses.
Checking Coverage:
Confirm active insurance policies and benefits before a visit.
Privacy and Compliance Protecting Data:
Follow strict medical privacy laws, such as HIPAA, to keep patient health details safe.
Accurate Notes:
Type clear notes into computer databases after every phone call.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 29.0 per week
