Inside Sales & Customer Support Coordinator

We grow and carry a full line of landscape plants from perennials to large caliper trees. During the past 5 years, under our second generation of leadership, we have experienced substantial growth in both sales volume and operational scale throughout the Midwest landscape market. We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our office team in a hybrid customer support and inside sales role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys communication, relationship-building, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced team environment. As a key point of contact between customers, drivers, sales staff, and multiple departments within the company, this role plays an important part in maintaining Wilson's Nursery's high standard of customer service, communication, and operational coordination during our busiest seasons.

Roles and Responsibilities Include:

• Entering and processing customer orders placed by phone, email, and in person
• Answering customer questions regarding inventory, pricing, availability, plant quality, photos, and delivery information
• Assisting customers with quotes, product recommendations, and order follow-up
• Supporting inside sales and customer outreach efforts throughout the season
• Building and maintaining positive customer relationships through proactive communication
• Coordinating with multiple departments to support customer needs and order requests
• Scheduling, confirming, and communicating delivery details with customers and drivers
• Troubleshooting and resolving customer order-related issues in a professional and efficient manner
• Collecting and processing customer payments, including COD accounts prior to delivery
• Maintaining accurate customer accounts and order records
• Assisting sales staff with customer support, order coordination, and administrative tasks as needed
• Assisting inbound delivery drivers with paperwork and coordination during peak spring season
• Supporting filing, data management, marketing support, and general office organization during slower periods The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well with others, takes ownership of responsibilities, and works effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Previous customer service, sales support, horticulture, landscaping, nursery, or agricultural experience is helpful but not required. Reliable attendance is required Monday - Friday, with occasional ½-day Saturdays during May and June. Pay range for the position is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role, with opportunities for advancement and increased responsibility for motivated individuals.
