About Mill Wright Logistics Mill Wright Logistics is a growing family-owned freight forwarding company based in Hillside, NJ. We support customers moving freight or vehicles through the Port of NJ/NY by coordinating container movements to and from the ports. Our services include ocean container drayage, transloading, and warehousing. We pride ourselves on providing dependable service through strong communication, efficient operations, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. We value teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement, and we're looking for individuals who want to grow with our company. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be working closely with customers, truckers, terminals, and warehouse personnel to keep freight moving efficiently and on schedule. Responsibilities Coordinate import shipments from port arrival through final delivery. Track containers and maintain accurate shipment records. Communicate with customers, truckers, terminals, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely movement of freight. Prepare and process shipping documentation. Provide shipment status updates and resolve operational issues. Work with the operations team to ensure shipments are completed accurately and efficiently. Qualifications Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. High attention to detail and accuracy. Positive attitude and strong customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in freight forwarding, container drayage, warehousing, or transportation logistics. Familiarity with Port of NY/NJ operations. Knowledge of import documentation, delivery orders, container tracking, and ocean freight processes. Previous customer service or logistics coordination experience. Education High school diploma or equivalent required
