Service Writer Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a Service Writer or Technician for the Diesel, Heavy Equipment or Auto industries required Basic knowledge of repairs, service processes, or preventative maintenance required Experience Communicating with Techs, Drivers, and Customers required Knowledge of Parts/Labor Tracking, Service Orders, and Basic Computer/Service Software preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with organizational talents and telephone etiquette Rewards of Service Writers $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Top Benefits! Service Writer Responsibilities:

Coordinating service and repair operations for heavy-duty diesel trucks and trailers Responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact, managing work orders, scheduling repairs, documenting service needs, assisting with estimates and parts ordering, and providing job status updates Ensures timely estimates are made and repair orders are written accurately Reviews hard copy repair orders turned in by technicians to confirm work has been completed properly Guarantees all repair orders are accounted for and closed when work is completed Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
