For more details see the "About Us" section. Base Range $50,000 - $70,000 Essential Functions and Primary Duties Serve as the primary client contact for an assigned book of Select Business commercial insurance accounts, delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships. Manage the day-to-day service needs of small business clients, including policy changes, endorsements, certificates of insurance, billing inquiries, audits, claims assistance, and coverage questions. Perform proactive account management activities to support client retention and satisfaction. Coordinate and manage the renewal process, including gathering updated underwriting information, marketing accounts when appropriate, preparing renewal proposals, and reviewing coverage options with clients. Advise clients on commercial insurance coverages and risk management solutions, helping them make informed decisions to protect their businesses. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, insurance carriers, underwriters, and internal team members. Respond to client requests accurately and efficiently while meeting established service standards and timelines. Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and communicate coverage details to clients in a clear and consultative manner. Identify gaps in coverage and uncover opportunities for additional insurance products and services, referring opportunities to Producers when appropriate. Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system and carrier platforms. Assist clients with claims reporting and coordination to ensure a positive client experience throughout the claims process. Stay informed on market conditions, carrier appetite changes, industry trends, and insurance products relevant to small business clients. Ensure compliance with agency procedures, carrier requirements, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with Producers and service team members to provide a seamless and positive client experience. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe. 2+ years of commercial insurance account management, customer service, or agency experience preferred. Experience servicing small business commercial insurance accounts. Working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume book of business and multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Experience utilizing agency management systems such as Applied Epic, Sagitta, or similar platforms preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM technologies. Professional Designations Preferred Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 3 to 5 years customer service experience in the insurance industry required Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Effective customer service skills Proficient use of applicable technology Ability to work in team environment as well as independently Must be able to travel based on client and business needs #LI-KW1 #LI-Hybrid About Us CBIZ, Inc.
