$60,000 Position Summary Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Controller & Customer Operations Specialist to support our growing U.S. operations. This hybrid role blends financial oversight and accounting discipline with customer-facing order management and service coordination. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing financial controls and serving as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a seamless experience from order placement through delivery and after-sales support. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with financial policies while delivering a high standard of service and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Financial & Controller Functions Manage day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/ERP) Maintain accurate financial records, including: Accounts receivable and payable Invoicing and collections Expense tracking and reconciliation Ensure adherence to Lifco financial controls and reporting standards Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports Monitor cash flow and support budgeting and forecasting activities Coordinate with external accountants and headquarters in Germany Oversee credit terms and ensure compliance with company payment policies (e.g., Net 30 / Net 45) Customer Service & Order Management Serve as a key point of contact for customer inquiries and support Process customer orders from entry through fulfillment Coordinate cross-functionally with: Internal sales team Service department Warehouse and logistics partners Headquarters in Germany Communicate order status, delivery timelines, and backorders Support service scheduling and follow up on maintenance requests Resolve customer issues professionally, escalating when necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Operational Support Assist with inventory tracking and coordination across the global supply chain Ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with company policies Support and enforce internal processes related to: Order approvals Payment terms Documentation and compliance Identify and contribute to process improvements across finance and customer experience Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field 3-7+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controller-level responsibilities Experience in customer service, order management, or inside sales support Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Experience with CRM/ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365) Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial equipment industries Familiarity with international business operations and coordination with global headquarters Understanding of credit management, payment terms, and collections processes What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Simple IRA with company contribution Paid time off and company holidays Opportunity to grow within a global organization
