Job Description

Must pass drug test, both pre-employment & random. Zero tolerance of drug-use. Excellent customer service, telephone, and multi-tasking skills are a must for position as a Dispatcher with Roper's Wrecker Service. Accuracy, organization, local geography knowledge and familiarity with vehicle make/models a plus. The ability to work in a fast paced environment is a must! Full time position , hours may vary and may change. So please be flexible if applying for this position. Position is paid 18.00 hourly .
We have the following opening:
2nd Shift Hours( Mid-Day Shift) includes following shifts- 2PM-10PM and 4PM-12AM. Position has every other weekend off and a day off during the week. This is a in-person position. Our 2nd shift position is five, 8-hour shifts per week, with 2 days off per week. Duties include but are not limited to : Answer all incoming calls by 3rd ring Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools Route and Dispatch drivers to calls Ability to prioritize calls/ drivers Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies Take the extra mile to engage customers Releasing vehicles and property to appropriate person Maintain clean office environment Skills/ Qualifications Computer experience; Keyboarding at 45 wpm Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening Strong customer service skills Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively Exhibits strong work ethic (punctuality and dependability) Ability to work independently and as well as a team player Must be able to work holidays and weekends Must pass background check Must pass drug test,both pre-employment & random. Zero tolerance of drug-use Business/Office professional conduct Training period is 4 weeks and training hours are 6AM-2PM. Please be advised training is done between 6AM-2PM, these are not the hours of the position we are hiring for.
