Schedule:

4×10-hour shifts per week (GWW 40) Day shifts with varied hours Rotational coverage for weekdays, weekends, and holidays Minimum of 14 call shifts required during the contract

Key Qualifications:

Active California RN license Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (annual renewal required per facility policy) At least two years of recent CVOR experience At least one year of experience as a travel RN Strong clinical judgment and ability to perform effectively in high-acuity environments

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide top-level perioperative care to cardiovascular surgery patients Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the OR team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and respond quickly to any adverse changes Maintain surgical instruments and sterile environment according to protocol Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures Participate actively in call rotation, including required weekday, weekend, and holiday shifts
