High Falls, NY Starting Pay:

$16.50/hour High Falls Food Co-op is seeking a reliable, friendly, and food-focused Deli Team Member to join our team. This role is essential to the daily operation of our deli and helps create a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality experience for our members and customers. Deli Team Members assist with preparing fresh foods, stocking displays, maintaining food safety standards, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Schedule & Availability Requirements This position requires open availability and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Typical shifts may include:

Early morning shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM Closing shifts ending around 7:30 PM Weekend availability is required , particularly Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday Applicants must be comfortable working a variety of shifts based on department needs. What You'll Do Prepare and package deli foods such as sandwiches, salads, breakfast items, and hot specials following established recipes and procedures Stock and maintain deli cases and retail displays Follow food safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling standards Provide friendly, helpful customer service to members and shoppers Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, inventory support, and temperature logs Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli workspace Support the Deli Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations as needed What We're Looking For Open availability and flexibility with scheduling (required) Weekend availability is required Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Friendly, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic Prior kitchen, deli, or food service experience preferred Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to cross-train and support other departments when needed
