The ideal candidate is motivated by creating effective, original written content that speaks to different audiences - healthcare C-suites, policymakers, clinicians, and potential patients. He or she demonstrates high ownership of a project's accuracy, effectiveness, and timeliness and is comfortable managing multiple priorities at once. He or she is also comfortable being their own editor, recognizing that a first draft is not the final deliverable, and being edited by others as a learning process. Experience in healthcare marketing, policy, and/or communications is recommended. Candidates should have exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, personal pride in a job well done, and ability to manage time and variety of deadlines. He or she will be comfortable working under tight deadlines and in collaboration with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the way our company is perceived by key audiences. We believe in the importance of collaboration and that is best accomplished in-office. However, we are open to considering remote candidates who can demonstrate the ability to collaborate remotely and self-manage and can commit to in-person team meetings once a quarter. Responsibilities Create and manage written content for our B2B, B2C, and public affairs clients, including but not limited to, press releases, speeches, op-eds and trade pub columns, thought leadership, web copy, social media copy, and whitepapers Maintain impeccable standards of accuracy and pride of ownership Adhere to judicious, if not minimal, use of AI tools for content creation Maintain intellectual and professional curiosity about our clients and the healthcare industry in which they operate Create project timelines and work with other members of the team to meet deadlines while maintaining ownership of a project's accuracy and effectiveness Deploy approved content using tools such as CoSchedule, HubSpot, and Monday Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Business, or Journalism 3-5 years professional writing experience Experience in communications operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, problem solving, willingness to go beyond the "ask," and attention to detail and accuracy
