We do want you to come in person to our office to get ideas of what we want for the art. We are located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey! This role offers the opportunity to craft charming, engaging characters and scenes that captivate audiences across various media platforms. As a key contributor, you will bring your artistic vision to life through vibrant visuals that resonate with viewers and elevate our storytelling. Whether working on character design, scene layout, or visual storytelling, you will play an integral part in shaping the aesthetic identity of our projects while honing your skills in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Create high-quality 2D cartoon illustrations in a cute style for diverse projects, including characters, backgrounds, and props Collaborate with teams to develop visual concepts aligned with project goals Develop detailed sketches and hand-drawn illustrations, then refine them using digital design tools Apply color theory and visual storytelling techniques to produce engaging and cohesive artwork Adapt artwork for various media formats, ensuring consistency across platforms such as web, print, and animation Utilize graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and other digital art tools to enhance illustrations Contribute to the overall art direction by providing creative input on style, layout design, and visual elements Skills Strong proficiency in graphic design illustration and digital art creation using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) Experience with hand-drawn illustration techniques combined with digital design skills Knowledge of typography design for media and visual storytelling principles Familiarity with motion graphics, 2D animation, and basic principles of layout design Ability to work efficiently within graphic design software such as Figma, SketchUp, Maya (for 3D elements), and other relevant tools Understanding of color theory and visual arts painting to create vibrant and appealing artwork Experience with screen printing or print advertising is a plus for multi-channel projects Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and art directors Knowledge of web design basics including HTML and CSS is advantageous for integrated digital projects Join us if you're passionate about creating adorable characters and captivating visuals that bring stories to life!
