Design Intern - Summer 2027 About the Opportunity Claire's is looking for a creative, trend-focused student to join our Design team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship provides an opportunity to experience how ideas and trends are translated into products for Claire's customers. As a Design Intern, you'll gain exposure to the creative process and collaborate with team members responsible for developing products and collections across the Claire's brand. What You'll Get to Experience Depending on business priorities and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to: Support trend, color, product, and competitive research. Assist with mood boards, concepts, presentations, and design materials. Learn how trends and customer insights influence product development. Support the development and organization of creative assets. Participate in product reviews and team meetings. Gain exposure to the product development lifecycle. Collaborate with Buying, Merchandising, and other cross-functional partners. Support special design projects and evolving business priorities. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Accessories Design, or a related field. Strong interest in fashion, accessories, youth culture, and emerging trends. Creative thinking with strong attention to detail. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other relevant design software preferred. Ability to communicate creative ideas visually and verbally. Strong organizational and collaboration skills. Portfolio or examples of relevant creative work may be requested during the selection process. Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.
