Buying Intern - Summer 2027 About the Opportunity Claire's is looking for a curious, commercially minded student to join our Buying team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the fast-paced world of retail merchandising while giving you the opportunity to learn how products move from idea to customer. As a Buying Intern, you'll work alongside our merchandising teams and gain exposure to how Claire's identifies trends, develops assortments, evaluates product performance, and brings exciting products to customers around the world. What You'll Get to Experience Depending on business priorities and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to: Support the Buying team with product and assortment activities. Review sales and product performance to identify trends and opportunities. Conduct competitive, market, and trend research. Assist with preparation for assortment reviews and other merchandising meetings. Learn how buyers make decisions related to product, pricing, assortment, and inventory. Partner with Planning, Design, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams. Support special projects and business priorities. Gain exposure to the end-to-end retail merchandising process. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Retail, Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field. Interest in retail, fashion, accessories, trends, and consumer products. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Comfortable working with data and Microsoft Excel. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn. Able to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve. Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.
