Job Description

Are you a passionate interior designer looking to contribute to thoughtful, beautiful spaces within a supportive small business? We're a growing design studio led by a licensed designer, and we're seeking another talented part-time Interior Designer to join our team for 25-35 hours per week with the potential to grow into a full-time role. In this role, you'll play an active part in the design process, client experience, and creative development. We're looking for someone who brings both technical skills and creative insight, and who's excited about the opportunity to grow with us.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage client projects from concept to completion, including timelines, communications, and deliverables Attend client meetings and site visits for measurements, documentation, and design inspiration Create and revise AutoCAD drawings, floor plans, and elevations Assist in sourcing materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures Prepare presentations and design documentation (mood boards, design booklets, client packets) Communicate with vendors, contractors, and clients as needed Contribute creative input to design concepts and space planning Assist with deliveries or onsite styling/installation
Requirements:
Degree in Interior Design Minimum 3 years of relevant design experience Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and client-facing demeanor Ability to work independently and take initiative within a fast-paced, collaborative environment Reliable transportation for errands and site visits
Hourly Rate:
$30-$40 based on experience How to
