This full-time, onsite role focuses on providing individualized communication access in educational environments, working closely with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Qualifications and Experience:

ASLPI score of 4.1 or higher is required Strong fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) Prior experience in educational or school-based settings preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide accurate 1:1 sign language interpretation between students and educators during instruction and school activities Support student comprehension and engagement across academic and social settings Foster an inclusive classroom experience, adapting signing style to meet student needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other interpreters to ensure consistent communication access Observe and maintain required documentation and confidentiality standards Engage in ongoing professional development and training workshops as needed
