Collaborating closely with educators, you will ensure equal access to learning for students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and English. Experience interpreting in educational or school settings (preferred). Certification or credentialing as a Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a collaborative approach. Flexibility and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times. Comfortable working on-site, engaging directly with students and staff.

Role Responsibilities:

Interpret classroom instruction, discussions, and activities for students. Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and peers. Support IEP meetings and school events as needed.
