Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) National or state certification (such as EIPA, RID, or equivalent) Prior experience in K-12 educational settings preferred Ability to adapt communication to various age groups and student needs Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation during classroom instruction and school events Support students comprehension and participation in academic and extracurricular activities Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to facilitate effective communication Assist in creating a supportive, accessible learning environment Maintain confidentiality and adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines
