We are currently seeking experienced Swahili Interpreters located in or near San Diego, California to provide in-person interpreting services for assignments in the 92105 area . This opportunity is specifically for interpreters who are available to travel to assignments in person. This is NOT a remote position. Requirements Fluency in Swahili and English Must be located in San Diego or within reasonable driving distance of ZIP Code 92105 Available for in-person assignments Previous professional interpreting experience preferred Medical, community, social services, or legal interpreting experience is a plus Strong communication skills and professional conduct Reliable transportation Ability to work as an independent contractor About the Opportunity This is a freelance / independent contractor opportunity. There are no guaranteed or fixed weekly hours. Assignments are offered based on client needs, interpreter availability, location, experience, and agreed rates.
