Key Responsibilities:
Provide sign language interpretation for one DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) student Deliver clear, accurate interpretation during classroom instruction and school activities Collaborate with educators and staff to ensure an inclusive learning environment Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards at all times Work an on-site schedule at the Head Start center from 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, totaling 30 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or equivalent experience as a Sign Language Interpreter Familiarity working in school or educational settings Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) Commitment to supporting the learning and success of DHH students Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
